Inclement Weather Policy

All weather-related announcements regarding closing and/or opening the TennisPlex will be posted on the Home page.

Please be sure we have an email address to reach you for both home and work. If we have to cancel classes, we will email those registered and post an announcement on the website. Conditions are often changing throughout the day and vary widely in our area. We will host classes, if possible, and will often allow make-ups for those who are not able to attend due to inclement weather. If weather is questionable, please be sure to check the website or call us at the PLEX before you leave for classes and programs.

    Notes:
  • Tennis shoes are not good on ice – Best to wear boots and change into tennis shoes inside.
  • Entrance to Park off Rte. 118 to Adventure Park area (Germantown Park Dr). may not be plowed when snowy and icy- Use Richter Farm Rd off Rte. 118.

Details of the New Unlimited Play Offer:

  1. Unlimited Play Reservations are available Mondays through Fridays between 9am-4:30pm (from January 25 through June 11).
  2. Make a court time reservation 3 days in advance by calling the front desk at 240-477-4430 or emailing us at MontgomeryTennisPlexInfo.com.
  3. Court time can only be reserved for a maximum of 1.5 hours per player per day.
  4. SPECIAL UNLIMITED Play Rate for Current Season Court Time Players: $145/per player.
  5. Guests must pay their standard $12.84/per player per 1-hour court time.
  6. These are ALL-IN special rates (no pro-rating will be offered for both unlimited program rates).

The Montgomery TennisPlex offers classes for all juniors, age 4 to 18, from beginner to advanced levels, taught by our superior staff of tennis pros. Under their guidance, players have the opportunity to advance from beginning to tournament level, and earn a spot on our Tournament Wall of Fame. On school half-days, students may also sign up for our popular afternoons of match play and pizza!

Throughout the summer, the TennisPlex provides, fun, high-energy full and half-day tennis camps for players of all ability levels. Additionally, the TennisPlex joins forces with the SoccerPlex to offer a Soccer and Tennis Camp. Extended care is available. Camps for Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break are open to junior players during the school holidays.

The Jack Schore Invitational Gold Program (”JSI Gold”), one of the nation’s most intensive championship training programs, provides advanced juniors with the tools necessary for tournament success. The 32-week program is open to players by invitation or tryout.

Hall of Fame Coach Jack Schore, coach of four top-50 professionals and countless junior champions, leads the Montgomery TennisPlex program. All students play competitive sets daily while being coached in tactics and strategy, drill in game situations, and receive fitness training from highly qualified instructors.

Adult Programs and Court Reservations

The Montgomery TennisPlex offers a wide variety of adult weekday, evening, and weekend tennis classes. We also host several adult tournaments and events.

Montgomery TennisPlex offers popular Senior Programs, including several multi-level senior tournaments and a half-price punch card for weekday afternoon play. Additionally, Seniors are active in the Early Bird Tennis Program.

Everyone may reserve a court at the Montgomery TennisPlex because we do not have any membership requirements or fees! Players may obtain seasonal court time, and reserve the same court at the same time every week for the entire fall-spring season, or reserve spot time for any available court.

We will always try to accommodate your schedule so that you will be able to play tennis at your convenience, indoors or outdoors, all through the year!

September 10: 2020-2021 seasonal court time begins (Thursday).
September 10: JSI Gold Fall-Winter-Spring season begins.
November 25-29: Thanksgiving Break
December 21-January 1: Winter Break
January 16: Session 3 begins.
March 12: Session 3 ends.
March 13: Session 4 begins.
March 13: Session 4 begins.
March 15: Seasonal court time application and deposit acceptance period begins.
April 30: “Incumbent” seasonal customers (who had contracts for the 2020/2021 season) have first option on same court time in 2021/2022 season so long as they apply and send in their deposits by 4/30/21.
May 7: Session 4 ends.
May 9: JSI Gold Fall-Winter-Spring season ends.
May 9: 2020-2021 seasonal court time ends.
June 14: Summer Camp begins.
June 15: Final payment due to secure seasonal time. If full payment is not received by this date, then courts will be released and deposits will not be returned.
Sept 3: Summer Camp ends.
Sept 11: 2021-22 Seasonal Court Time begings.
May 8, 2022: 2021-22 Seasonal Court Time ends.
